Product Description
Synopsis from the back of the box:
Using state of the art 3-D graphics, you become the hero with a first person perspective game play. The weaponry is completely spiritual as you use the power of your sword to save the souls of your enemies. As the game player moves on in levels, they gain further spiritual power, never using the sword to strike an opponent. Although it does take some time to get the hang of, this becomes an epic adventure.
Your mentor and brethren have been captured by the demon possessed Roman soldiers. It is your job to work you way through the catacombs to free them. Satan has a powerful hand in the Roman Empire and has powerful foes to block your every effort. From the prison, in which your mentor is kept, he sends a plea for help to you. According to Acts 26:18 (KJV). Our Catechumen is sent to open their eyes (the Roman Soldiers), and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins.
Rated Teen with Animated Violence but with NO blood or gore.
A one-player action game for teens and up.
Dove Review:
This game has incredible digital sound, wonderful graphics, and smooth game play. This Bible based storyline adventure avoids many of the pitfalls we see in adventure games. This really is a gore free game succeeding in creating a full out adventure without killing. A solid storyline that is fun and challenging to follow makes this quality game a joy to play. Although this game may be a little challenging for younger players, it is great for teens and adults. It is a strong adventure game that is true to the Christian concepts.
