Teens model what they see, and their view of America's cultural landscape is obscured by a world in chaos. Students are bombarded with negative influences and false messages. They face unrealistic expectations, false perceptions of right and wrong, and an epidemic of violence depicted in music, movies and television. Their families are falling apart, their schools are unsafe and their leaders are unreliable. Today's students desperately need strong character to able to influence their world for Christ. That's the focus of this series.
The aim of this curriculum is not to just tell students how they're supposed to think, respond or behave. Instead, Vital Character provided students with examples of godly character traits and challenges them to model those traits in their lives.
