HOW TO MAKE AN ONLINE RESERVATION?

  1. You will need to register with us to get an ID and Password. To register an account, click here.

  2. Browse our selection of titles which we have on our website through the search filter.

  3. If you have found the items that you would like to purchase, click on the "Reserve" button.

  4. Carry on browsing our website to purchase more items. Once you have completed your shopping, click on "view reservation cart" at the top right hand corner.

  5. If you would like to increase the quantity for some of the items, simply enter the amount under the "Quantity" column.

  6. Click on "Update cart" to update your reservation.

  7. Next click on the "Check Out" button.

  8. Enter your Username and Password.

  9. Verify the "Title" and "Quantity". If you have purchase the wrong item, simply click on "Edit cart" to make the changes.

  10. Fill up the "Delivery details".

  11. Verify that all the information is correct and click on "Confirm reservation" button.



WHAT IS THE SELLING PRICE?

As most of the prices are not indicated on the products, we will advise you on the quotation and availability via email. Reservations made through the website are non obligatory unless otherwise stated in our quotation and availability advice. You may choose to cancel your reservation anytime. All reservations will be released if not collected or delivered within 1 week of reservation.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDERS?

  1. By cash, nets or credit card (visa/mastercard) at our cashier counters- Only if you are self collecting.

  2. By cheque: Please write the cheque to SKS BOOKS WAREHOUSE

    You can mail your cheque to:

    Please remember to put your name, contact number, reservation number behind the cheque.

  3. By VISA/MASTERCARD : Once you get our payment advise, you can email us your Name on card, Card number, expiry date of card. Payment made this way is subject to 2% charge by visa/mastercard on the total amount payable.

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR DELIVERY?

The delivery charges will be SGD$7.00 within Singapore (main island) for parcels that are within the dimensions 30cm by 30cm by 6cm*. We will advise when parcel falls beyond this category and provide a delivery quotation upon request by customer.

* Applies to normal delivery between 9am to 5pm from Mon to Fri, and 9am to 1pm on Sat. Urgent delivery, weekend delivery and holiday are subject to extra charges and subjected to availability. Customer or their representative must be around to receive the goods otherwise the goods will be considered undeliverable and one time delivery charges will still be charged and additional delivery charges will be charged for second delivery.

For overseas orders, we will inform you the cost of the airfreight by normal or parcel mails when we inform you about our stock availability. All overseas mailing is at the risk of the buyers.

IF PRODUCT IS NOT LISTED, CAN I STILL MAKE RESERVATION?

Our website's datebase is definitely not a representative of the titles available in our bookroom.

If the title you are looking for is not listed in SKS Books Online, you can submit your request by
clicking here and tell us the title, author and publisher (if you have this info) or any other information which you think may help us and our representative will get back to you soon.

HOW CAN I GET AN ID AND PASSWORD?

All you need is to go to
JOIN MAILING LIST and you will be given an ID and PASSWORD.

FORGET PASSWORD?

If you have forgotten your password, we have a password retrieval function to help you reset your password to something new, and send that new password to your registered email account. To use this function, you will need to provide us with your username and the email address that you have registered with us.

After receiving the email, you may use your username and the new password to login. For security reasons, it is advisable that you change the new password to something that you can easily remember.

If you cannot remember your username and/or email address and therefore cannot use our password retrieval function, you may wish to contact the administrator, who will assist you in resetting your password.

WHY CAN'T I RETRIEVE MY OLD PASSWORD?

As part of our security measures, we do not store your passwords in the clear. This means no one will be able to see your real password. A side effect of this is that we cannot tell what your actual password is! In order to allow you to log in to your account, we have to randomly generate a new password and send that to you through the email address that you have registered with us.

WHAT IS E VOUCHER?

E Vouchers are promotions that are offered exclusively to customers who signed up to receive our SKS E- UPDATES mails. We will issue them on an ad hoc basis and only customers with on going subscription of SKS E-UPDATES will be able to retrieve the vouchers which are redeemable at our cashier counters. All E vouchers contain validity dates and individual serial numbers. Each voucher can only be used once. You need not print the voucher but will need to provide our cashier with the voucher number and the necessary ID to redeem. SKS reserve the rights to reject any voucher claim and deem any voucher void at our sole descretion.
