Millions of generation-Yers around the world want spiritual direction, but for them - it has to be real. Not the flaky nor the phony elements we see in organized religion. Not the dogmatism or hypocritical crap we see in fundamentalism.   

We want a new format for getting Christian perspectives.

NOOMA is the new format.

Each NOOMA volume touches on issues that we care about, that we want to talk about, and it comes in a way that fits our world.

Rob Bell is the featured speaker for the current series. As founding pastor of one of America's fastest growing churches - Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville, Michigan - he's renown for his ability to communicate to postmoderns and generation-y folks.

Co-founded by 3 gifted individuals - a film student, design student and a pastor - FLANNEL became the non-profit organization that gave birth to NOOMA.  

The Nooma DVD series:

Using a transliterated version of the greek word "pneuma" meaning "spirit", NOOMA is all about the spiritual. Each volume touches on a particular topic that is presented in a way that is relevant, engaging and poignant .

How to use these DVDs:

  • As discussion starters in small group studies
  • As feature messages in a youth meetings
  • As spiritual nourishment for individual study
