DESCRIPTION
Paul's emotional final letter to Timothy, written near the end of his life, is one of the most stirring and moving documents in the whole Bible. Paul himself has finished the race; he has persevered to the end. And he writes to Timothy, his dear son in the faith, to urge him to do the same.
In a fast-paced world such as ours, where everything is new, exciting but short-lived, the challenge of 2 Timothy is this: Will our Christian lives be the same? Will we start with a blaze of joy and enthusiasm, only to lose the plot when things get difficult? Or will we persevere, like Paul, keeping hold of the word of truth, preserving it carefully, living our lives by it, and faithfully passing it on to others?
In these six encouraging studies, Bryson Smith brings clarity and practical wisdom to bear in guiding us through this powerful New Testament letter.
