DESCRIPTION

"The present debate about homosexuality is often heated. I do not want to heat up the discussion further, but simply tell the story of the reality of God in a person's life. His work in the life Richard Oostrum was both deep and radical, delivering him from gay lifestyle. This in itself may be offensive to some, even though the tone of the book is not judgemental, but I have sought to let the facts speak for themselves." Hans Frinsel

Richard and his wife Noemia have been leading the work of YWAM in the Red Light District of Amsterdam and are now launching a new YWAM ministry to those with a similar background of sexual brokenness.

The testimony of Richard Oostrum vividly demonstrates the power of God to radically change a person’s life. His journey from active homosexual to married father is not simply one of victory. His description of the struggle to allow God to be at the centre of his thoughts and actions is both truthful and engaging and one that every Christian faces no matter what their circumstances. This book is about restoration through dedication to God and therefore holds universal appeal.
