DESCRIPTION
We are sorry but this title is currently no longer in print.
The Great Commission is a call to witness, a call to preach the Gospel to all nations.
Yet again, we often miss the one factor that is at the core of the biblical mandate. And that is to make disciples.
A groundbreaking book when it was first released, it has been a key work which has sparked fires of revival across the nation. Staunchly biblical and culturally innovative, it is a work that transcends denominational and theological traditions. It is an ecclesiology set on fire with evangelistic fervour.
Known in the region to be deeply committed to sound theology and expository preaching, Edmund Chan brings to us a book that informs the mind, warms the heart and delight the soul. Central to the book's thesis is that true Church growth is the explosion of disciples, not mere attendees. We are called to be prophets, NOT salesmen and a Church, NOT an entertainment hub. Destined to be a classic in years to come, this is a book not to be missed on your bookshelf!
"The author of this helpful and challenging book, Rev Edmund Chan challenges us to a change of paradigm- its challenge is to ALL denominations and to church leaders who are engaged as shepherds of God's flock"
- Dr James Houston, Professor of Spiritual Theology, Regent College, Vancouver, Canada
