DESCRIPTION

Family discipleship happens when parents help their children become disciples of Jesus Christ in the home through reading the Bible, praying, worshiping, and doing missions together. It starts in our marriages, by loving our spouses with the love of Christ. It happens by teaching, loving, and sharing our faith with our children.

In these nine video session accompaniments to Grow at Home, Winfield Bevins unpacks the idea of family discipleship, outlining a practical approach for families of all ages and backgrounds. When we bring the gospel back in the home, it will spread through our neighborhoods and into the communities where we live. Let the journey begin!

About the author:
Dr. Winfield Bevins serves as the director of Asbury Seminary's Church Planting Initiative. As a follower of Christ, his primary ministry is being a devote husband and father. He and his wife, Kay, have three beautiful daughters--Elizabeth, Anna Belle, and Caroline. They live in the Blue Grass state of Kentucky.
