When time is short, the HOTC delivers an essential understanding of the Old Testament with unsurpassed clarity and convenience.

Ezekiel’s prophecy is set in the turbulent years of Jerusalem’s destruction. He was the only Israelite prophet to carry out his ministry entirely outside Israel’s homeland. When Jerusalem fell in 586 B.C., Ezekiel’s message changed. Judgment had fallen, and he was vindicated as a true prophet among his fellow exiles. With few exceptions, thereafter, his messages were proclamations of hope. But Ezekiel emphasized always that Israel’s future restoration would be a work of divine grace.
