Synopsis from Green Key Books:

A dark secret lurks in Joe Caruso’s past, and he is driven to find the answer—even if it means a Harley ride across the entire country. His search leads him to a sleepy little Washington town where he sets up camp in a wooded hollow near a church. Distrustful of all religious people, Joe resists the kindness of the pastor and his guests, which includes Chessy, a beautiful university student who shows more than just a casual interest in him. In time, however, their gentle persistence begins to soften the shell around his heart.

But when a crime is committed at the church, Joe becomes a likely suspect and his world is turned upside down. Determined more than ever to uncover the secret of his past, Joe discovers far more than he bargained for—fueling a deep division between two families in the church.

In MISTAKEN IDENTITY, Josh McDowell and Ed Stewart not only offer a captivating tale of action, intrigue, and romance, they show the enormous power of relationships in opening even the most resistant heart to the truth of God’s redeeming love.
