Synopsis from SKS Books Warehouse:

SKS Books Warehouse is proud to introduce another blockbuster from the best-selling Christian novelist who gave the world This Present Darkness, Prophet and The Oath...

Vintage Peretti at the height of his powers...

Something is out there...and it is alive...

A survival weekend which turned nasty.

A wife who became potential prey for some thing more deadly than the elements of the outer darkness which surrounded the camp...

Reed Shelton organized a weekend adventure camp for himself and his wife Beck. Hiring the best guide in the region, nothing prepared them for what is to come...

A maniacal wail which pierced the night shattered the calm of the forest. It preceded the advent of someone - some thing which emerged from the dense woods and which started to pursue the campers. Transient flashes of non-remembrance encompassed Reed in a blur - until the unforgettable image of a terrifying creature carrying his wife into the darkness.

With the aid of a small town and a band of friends, Reed knew there was little time to find Beck. Relentless and fierce, the hunt began. Not for the creature...but for the lives of the very band of brothers who is now in danger of perishing in the darkness of the forest. Some thing is out there...

Frank Peretti embraces the peak of his literary powers as he creates a world of fear, the unknown and a cavern where things go bump in the night. A thriller worth a read in gold!
