The Bible for Families can help us keep God's Word at the centre of our everyday family life; just like our mealtimes:

• Main Course pages contain 52 bible reading notes (one for each week of the year), created with a flexible approach in mind
• Tasters give informative explanations of the background and content of every book of the bible - from a family perspective.
• Main Course Specials for Christmas, Easter, and new parents help you mark major events together
• Small Portions are special bite-sized pages for younger children, containing stories and questions to help them think through some sticky issues of daily life.
• Food for Thought features explore family relationships and the role of the family within the community.
• Presentation pages enable you to record important family milestones.
• Dish of the Day bible reading plans give suggestions for how you can read more widely in the Bible
• Breakfast News lines up biblical events historically so that you can find out just what happened when.

The NIV text in this bible is anglicized (re-structured for British readers)
