Synopsis from kregel.com

Abandoned at four months old by an alcoholic mother, John Robinson lived in abusive foster homes for most of his life. By the age of fourteen, he was already a criminal. Gravitating towards a life of crime, he moved from reformatory to the streets to a psychiatric hospital— a scarred, broken, and angry young man.

Yet God had plans for John. Today he runs the Eden bus ministry: frontline youth buses which travel the toughest parts of Manchester with the gospel, the teams befriending youngsters and sometimes accompanying them to court.

“My passion,” says John Robinson, “is for those who feel downtrodden, hurt, and rejected. They feel like scum and they wake up each day with nothing and no one. I know exactly what that feels like.”
