Synopsis from Strang:

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. -John 14:14

Prayer is a powerful gift, as Tommie Matthews well knows. From the days of her grandmother’s prayers for her, to prayers of her own, Matthews shares multiple counts of how God answered prayers in the lives of her and her family.

Such prayers resulted in a much-needed painter showing up at her door to offer honest work for a reasonable price. In another instance, prayer saw her daughter’s violin lessons result in an all- expense paid college education, and her son returning to school after a long absence. God even provided Matthews with her dream car, which resulted in a surprising twist for her car salesman. Prayer and Faith is a practical guide of encouragement, and inspiration for anyone that needs a reminder that God is listening and He will answer.
