DESCRIPTION

In Speaking of Jesus, Carl Medearis draws on his experience with international reconciliation between Muslims and Christians to remind readers of the heart of evangelism: Jesus.

Some Christians fear moments when they need to defend their theology. Some Christians crave those moments. In reality, the majority of the witnessing encounters Christians encounter involve less-than-optimal conditions, unexpected questions, and the split-second decision of how to represent one's faith.

Speaking of Jesus gives readers tools, stories, and foundation they need to move beyond "us" and "them" and simply talk about their Savior with others. As Medearis writes, "While others are explaining and defending various isms and ologies we're simply pointing people to our friend. The one who uncovers and disarms. Who leads people right to himself."
