DESCRIPTION

Do you see the inspired, infallible, divinely inspired Word of God? Or do you see a collection of stories, rooted in truth somewhere in the distant past, but so encrusted with contradictions and wishful thinking that it's difficult to determine what makes sense and what doesn't?

In today's world it's often felt that you're intellectually suspect if you claim to actually believe the deity and humanity of Jesus. Author Glenn Pearson tackles head-on the intellectual issues surrounding the trustworthiness of the Gospels. Easy to understand and full of humour and wit, this book demonstrates in a practical way how we as Christians can maintain intellectual integrity as we pursue the resolution of apparent discrepancies in the New Testament Gospels. You will discover:

• Five filters typically used to read the Gospels
• How these filters distort the conclusions drawn about Jesus
• 18 principles to help equip you to deal with alleged problems in an intellectually satisfying way.
