DESCRIPTION

An inspiring, timeless collection that makes it an excellent gift for children, this sophisticated Children's Bible is a classic in word and picture, an ideal gift for baptism or first communion. It contains 80 Bible stories from the creation of the world through to the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and the birth of the early church. The 80 Bible stories are grouped thematically, rather than chronologically, and include both the well-known and the less well-known.

The illustrations in this Bible, by Maria Cristina Lo Cascio, are sophisticated and elegant and always remain appropriate to the time and culture of the stories themselves.

The Barnabas Classic Children's Bible is ideal for children aged eight to ten. It makes a perfect gift from parents and grandparents, or as a gift from church or Sunday School for baptism or first communion.
