DESCRIPTION

This book follows the adventurous journey of an Australian Doctor through encounters with cannibals and crocodiles, famine in Bangladesh, tidal waves, floods, mountains, wilderness and Australian deserts. Join Dr Malcolm Dunjey as he works with Afghan refugees in the wild North West Frontier Province; visits Pakistan desert communities and encounters armed Yemen tribesmen. His missionary experiences have taken him to all corners of the globe, and as he shares his journey the author explores the nature of mission and its often controversial role in the development of various cultures around the world.
"They confessed they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth...For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city which is to come...whose architect and builder is God...who has prepared a city...the city of the Great King".
