DESCRIPTION

All too often socio-economic development is understood in overly simplistic terms, leaving out key components that can determine the failure or success of a young society. Yet, even with these key concepts understood, there is also a systematic failure to understand how each is intricately intertwined with the other.

In Walking with the Poor: Principles and Practices of Transformational Development Proposes an understanding of development in which the physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of life are seamlessly interrelated. Taking into account the various human dynamics that influence and stabilize society, Myers book is an excellent guide to gaining a proper understanding of social development.
