DESCRIPTION

Featuring notes by award-winning authors Philip Yancey and Tim Stafford, the Student Bible addresses the three most common reasons students give for not reading their Bibles: 1. I can’t understand it. The Student Bible makes understanding easy with Highlights and Insights—in-text notes that explain difficult verses, point out important facts, and encourage reflection. 2. I can’t find it. The exclusive Subject Guide points the reader to the Bible’s message on topics of interest to today’s student. 3. The Bible is too big and intimidating. The unique 3-Track Reading Plan offers a choice of 2 or 3-week, 6-month, or 3-year programs to allow the reader to achieve reading goals at his or her own pace. And now The Student Bible includes the text of the updated New American Standard Bible (NASB), the most literal English translation on the market today. Using the formal equivalence approach to translation, the NASB is perfect for conservative evangelical readers who prefer a direct, word-for-word rendering of the Bible.
